Sometimes you simply want another opportunity to see your baby between your routine NHS appointments.

Our Reassurance Scan is a relaxed, non-diagnostic ultrasound experience designed to give you some extra time with your baby and enjoy seeing how they are changing and growing during pregnancy.

This is a non-diagnostic reassurance and keepsake scan and does not replace your routine NHS maternity appointments, screening or diagnostic ultrasound examinations. First Glance Ultrasound does not use this scan to make or exclude a medical diagnosis.

If your sonographer makes an unexpected or uncertain observation that requires further assessment, they will explain this sensitively and support you with the appropriate next steps through the relevant NHS service

- 30 minutes appointment ( 15 minutes of scan time)
- Seeing your baby and enjoying some special bonding time together
- Visualisation of your baby's cardiac activity, where visible
- Watching your baby's movements, where visible and appropriate for gestation
- Seeing your baby's position at the time of your scan
- Visualisation of a single or multiple pregnancy
- A relaxed opportunity to ask your sonographer questions about what you can see on the screen
- Keepsake images to take away and treasure
- Please attend for your appointment with a full bladder
- Please bring your hospital pregnancy notes along with you if you have them
- Two thermal prints
- Documentation of the scan findings.
- Extra prints are available at £5 per image
